Guide · 5 steps
Take great reference photos
Your AI model learns the face from 1 to 4 reference photos (3 recommended). Clear, varied photos of one person work best. Here's what to look for before you upload.
Create an AI modelStep 1: One person, face clearly visible
Only the person you're creating, with the whole face in view. Crop out anyone else.
Step 2: Mix the angles
Include a front view, a three quarter view and a side view, so the model sees the face from more than one side.
Step 3: Use soft, even light
Daylight from a window works well. Avoid very dark photos and harsh shadows across the face.
Step 4: Keep it natural and recent
Recent photos with a natural expression. Skip heavy filters, beauty modes and face-editing apps.
Step 5: Check what to avoid
- Group shots or other faces in frame
- Sunglasses, masks or hair over the face
- Blurry, dark or very small photos
- Photos where the person is far from the camera
